So I'm not sure how many people I've told about this, but I have had a really bad experience with my doctor. Lots of examples, but to keep a long story short... I decided about 2 weeks ago that when we move to Nor Cal for the summer, I'm going to switch to a midwife. I'm done with ObGyns for the moment...
So I'm looking up my doc's address for a health insurance claim form, and I came across a rating site, where he averaged half a star out of five...there were 15 reviews -- YIKES!
Turns out I'm not crazy, he's just kind of a terrible doctor. I'm not trying to ruin his life, but it is nice to be validated -- at our last ultrasound, I left almost in tears, I was so upset. Bad experience...too bad I didn't find this website 6 months ago, right???

Oh I had no idea. How sad. First babies are supposed to be exciting and fun-- boo for bad doctors. But a midwife sounds frickin' awesome. I love the idea of natural childbirth, but am not sure how it will pan out when the time comes for me to actually have a baby. If you do it, I will be braver when it's my turn I think. :)
Oh! I am so sorry! That is rough! I could recommend a great Doctor if you lived in Ogden, but I don't think you do. I hope things go better with a midwife!
