Late Post: St. Patrick's Day

On St. Patrick's Day, I had a few other moms over for a leprechaun hunt. Every single person wore green -- so much festivity crammed into my tiny apartment!

From left to right: My friends Elaine (holding her son Caleb, and Cal), Carolyn with her sons Connor and Nolan, and Shelly with Maddy & Lily. Aren't we a festive group? We had all-green food and then went outside to search for leprechaun poop (aka special green M&Ms).

The kids got a little distracted by the playground. None of them really understood that we were looking for evidence of a leprechaun, especially the babies. Whenever they saw M&Ms on the ground, they were like, "Sweet! Chocolate," and then they'd sit on the ground and eat it, instead of following the trail. It was hilarious.

Caleb and Cal eventually found the bowl:

After a lot of playing, we went upstairs and helped them follow some leprechaun footprints:

The "Pot of Gold" left by the leprechaun:

Cal didn't understand any of it, but scored a lot of candy, something he's not usually allowed to eat. (Can you tell he seems happy about something mischievous?)

All in all a very fun, festive day!
