Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, Aunt Heather treated us all to a Giants' baseball game at ATT park in San Francisco. On our drive up, we made a stop at the National Cemetery, where my great-grandpa, John Linebarger is buried. He served in WWI when America joined the war in 1917.

Afterward, we got to watch the ball game with Heather. She not only got our tickets, but treated us to ballgame grub, and bought hats for both the boys. We LOVE living close to Heather!

It's Spring!

As I've said countless times before, we have a wonderful group of friends in our lives right now.  These are a few pictures from a Spring Soiree held at my friend's house.

While there, my friend Jackie snapped a few pictures with the four of us, and we loved how they turned out -- our first official family portraits with Elliot!

Happy Spring, everyone!

Easter Activities

We had a week filled to the brim with Easter (and other) activities, which was a huge relief since we're on Spring Break from preschool and have endless time on our hands. For our weekly park day, the moms decided to hold our now-annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Always a fun time.

Later in the week, we had an Easter-themed playdate at my friend Jennifer's house. I was so impressed with her preparations -- all while pregnant, too! First we had a bunny hop relay race...

Then we did some Easter  crafts...
After which, we played Easter-Egg Candyland -- there were prizes under each egg. The kids loved it!

We finished up with a delicious lunch. It was a total blast. Thank you, Jennifer! You're amazing. :)

Cal's Preschool Birthday

We love Cal's preschool. In order to make sure that the kids with summer birthdays don't feel left out, they pepper their birthdays throughout the normal school year. Cal's was this week, and we brought cupcakes for the class. I also got to stay and volunteer. It was a little tricky with brand new baby Elliot, but the teachers were very understanding. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to experience Cal's class in action.
