On Tuesday, we had another ultrasound. Since we've switched clinics, they wanted to re-check everything, so that they could have their own results. It was bonus for me, because Reed and I got to see the baby again!
It's crazy now, because everything has developed -- fingernails, toes, eyelashes, organs, lips... he could be born now and he wouldn't even be considered a premie. He's just chillin' inside me, putting on weight, and waiting till he's good and ready to come out.
The ultrasound lasted a long time -- I was in there for probably 45 minutes. Reed got to watch the screen the whole time, and the nurse let us both take a look at certain points, like when she checked the heart. It is so incredible to see a little heart beating on the screen.
Besides getting to see the baby, it was comforting to know that everything is looking perfect and healthy. No placenta previa...which they were concerned about earlier on.
I can't believe this little boy will be here in a month!
